RIDING SCHOOL APPROVAL
Those which qualify for BHS approval meet the highest
standards of instruction, safety, and horse care.

LEVEL 3 (BHSAI) TRAINING CENTRES
Resources
Must include an enclosed menage, showjumps BSJA standard,
cross country fences, and suitable lecturing facilities.

Equipment
To suit the requirements of the syllabus.

Instructor
Qualified to level 4 standard.

Horses
Trained up to level 3 standard able to work novice dressage.
Able to jump 3" higher than the current exam requirements.
As wide a variety as possible.

Centre inspected yearly.

Safety and welfare of the public, staff, and trainees.
Good management, welfare of horses and ponies, and good quality of provision
of product.

Inspections based on

General appearance of the establishment.
Horses and ponies-saddleroom and equipment-facilities.
Health and safety-instruction.
