Indoor school

The indoor school is 40m x 20m and has a grit sand surface.

This contains a seating and standing area from which to listen to and view the lessons.
Hot drinks and tuck-shop facilities are available.
The notice board contains relevant information.

Round lungeing pen

Situated close to the school and stables.
It is 16m in diameter with an all weather sand surface.
It can be used for exercising, loose schooling, lungeing a rider etc.

Training room

Used for student training and stablemanagement lessons.
Contains various visual aids, OHP, TV and video, with a video link to the indoor school.

Showjumps

Sufficient B.S.J.A. Standard Showjumps to construct full courses.

Cross-country course

Our course of over 25 jumps is built from solid timber.
It is suitable for a rider's first cross-country lesson, or for schooling a novice horse.
It also has some complex fences up to intermediate horse trials level.
There are many different types of jump, including various ditches, a trakehner,
coffins, steps, a bank, drops, bounces, a zig-zag, an archway,
helsinki-steps, combination fences, table jumps, a parallel bridge, and water complex.


Ditch and rail with drop. An intermediate level ditch/rail with 5'6" drop
A 2'6" trakehner. This is an excellent schooling fence. Trakehner.

Table fences. Introductory and pre-novice table fences.
Intermediate coffin angled downhill to the ditch, plus small introductory coffin. Coffin fences.

True parallel bridge jump. A true parallel fence only 2'6" high.
A small inviting Helsinki-steps fence, 2'3" high Helsinki steps.
